Dr. Mehralivand is a research fellow at the Molecular Imaging Program, National Cancer Institute, Bethesda, Maryland, USA. Dr. Mehralivand finished his residency at the Department of Urology and Pediatric Urology at the University Medical Center Mainz of the Johannes Gutenberg University Mainz in 2014. He has published more than 20 articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as a reviewer for Translational Andrology and Urology. His major research interests are novel imaging techniques for the diagnosis of urologic tumors, development of artificial intelligence (AI) - assisted diagnosis systems and exploring the potential of augmented reality (AR) – based surgical navigation systems. Dr. Mehralivand is member of the German Society of Urology (DGU) and European Association of Urology (EAU).
