Francesco Chierigo, MD, is a third-year resident at the Department of Urology of Policlinico San Martino in Genova, Italy. Since his fourth year of medicine, he has been actively involved in clinical and translational research. He attended a six-month fellowship at the department of andrology at University College Hospital, London, United Kingdom, and a one-year research fellowship at the Cancer Prognostics and Health Outcomes Unit, Division of Urology, University of Montréal Health Center, Montréal, Québec, Canada. Francesco published many research papers and regularly participates in national international conferences and symposia. He also serves as Youth Ambassador of the European Code Against Cancer.
