Erratum: Tibial nerve stimulation for overactive bladder: a literature review of stimulation parameters
Erratum to: Transl Androl Urol 2026;15:67.
In the published article entitled “Tibial nerve stimulation for overactive bladder: a literature review of stimulation parameters” (1), a reference was inadvertently omitted from the “Stimulation intensity” subsection of the “TNS parameters” section.
The corrected text is as follows:
A systematic review and meta-analysis published in 2025 specifically explored the impact of various electrophysiological parameters on the efficacy of TTNS in treating OAB, including the setting of stimulation intensity. By integrating data from multiple RCTs, the study found that when the intensity of TTNS was set to elicit a motor response, it could significantly improve patients’ urgency and nocturia symptoms. Specifically, compared with the control group, TTNS treatment at the motor T intensity could reduce the urgency symptom score by an average of 1.44 points (95% confidence interval: −2.69 to −0.19) and decrease the frequency of nocturia by an average of 1.14 times (95% confidence interval: −1.93 to −0.34) (33).
