AB056. The perioperative nursing in flexible ureteroscopy and holmium laser lithotripsy

Background: To explore the perioperative nursing in flexible ureteroscopy and holmium laser lithotripsy.

Methods: All 128 patients underwent flexible ureteroscopy and holmium laser lithotripsy was gave the preoperative psychological nursing, health guidance, the nursing of postoperative complications, health education and the follow-up intervention to prevent recurrence of stones.

Results: One hundred twenty-one cases out of 128 (94.5%) had stone clearance post operation. No serious complication occurred except one case of hematuria and one case of urinary tract infection. The D-J tubes were in their right place. The average post operation hospital stay was 2.5 days.

Conclusions: Effective perioperative care can improve the surgery effect, decrease the complications of surgery, shorten hospital stay and enhance patient satisfaction.
