Detection of lymph node metastases in genitourinary cancers
This issue of Translational Andrology and Urology (TAU) is devoted to “Detection of Lymph Node Metastases in Genitourinary Cancers”, which is an evolving topic due to continuous high-level research in the field specifically in imaging and imaging guided surgery/intervention. In this issue, many experts shared their clinical and research experiences through high quality review articles on a diverse group of genitourinary cancers and they present a wide variety of lymph node detection techniques including conventional imaging, sentinel node imaging, novel positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging. As the guest editor of TAU, I aimed to include the most up-to date information on the topic. I would like to gratefully acknowledge the time and dedication of all participating authors, as well as the diligent support and assistance of the Science Editor, Mira Wu. I hope that our readers will be well-rewarded for investing time in reading the comprehensive materials presented in this issue of TAU and innovative ideas will be initiated based on these reads.
