PE 09. Clinical efficacy of vacuum underpressure liquid moving massage therapy combined with low - frequency electrical pulse acupoint stimulation in treating premature ejaculation
Objective: To observe the efficacy and safety of vacuum underpressure liquid moving massage therapy combined with low-frequency electrical pulse acupoint stimulation in treating premature ejaculation (PE).
Methods:: Totally 86 PE patients were randomly divided into two groups: treatment group (n=56), treated with vacuum underpressure liquid moving massage therapy combined with low-frequency electrical pulse acupoint stimulation, 3-5 times a week, 15 times for one treatment course; and control group (n=30), treated with psychotherapy. The changes of intra-vaginal ejaculation latency time (IELT) and erectile function after treatment were recorded.
Results:: In the treatment group, PE was improved in 33 patients (76.8%), which was significantly higher than that in the control group (n=9, 30%) (P<0.05). For patients with concomitant erectile dysfunction (ED), the effective rate for improving ED was 71.9% in the treatment group, which was also significantly higher than that in the control group (27.78%) (P<0.05). No obvious side effect was observed during therapy.
Conclusions:: The therapy of vacuum underpressure liquid moving massage combined with low-frequency electrical pulse acupoint stimulation is effective and safe in treating PE, especially for patients with concomitant ED.
