O 07. The application of penis lengthening surgery by making spindle shape incisions

Objective: Research on the methods and effect of penis lengthening surgery by making spindle shape incisions in root of penis and the pubic symphysis area.

Methods: The operation of penis lengthening surgery on 32 penis dysplasia patients in our treatment center from 2003 to 2011. A spindle shape incisions was made from the root of penis to the pubic hair covering area of the pubic symphysis area, detaching the skin in the incisions, cutting the penis shallow suspensory ligament and the deep suspensory ligament below the shallow one. Stretch the penis, stitching the fascia tissue on the either side layer by layer, closing the clearance between the penis and the pubis, folding together and stitching the distant points on the either side of the spindle shape, and then the two sides of the cut surface form a line and end the operation by interrupted sutures.

Rusults: The penis' normal and average length of the 32 penis dysplasia patients before operation was 4.36, and 7.83 cm when their penises become erect. After operation, the penis' normal and average length of the 32 penis dysplasia patients was 7.4, and 10.51 cm when their penises become erect. After follow-up from 6-12 months, all the patients were satisfied with the penis form and normal erection function.

Conclusions: The surgery applied can lengthen penis adequately, the form become natural and attractive, Complications can be avoided to the greatest degree, and all those meet the physiological and psychological needs of the patients.
