This issue of Translational Andrology and Urology (TAU) is devoted to “Detection of Lymph Node Metastases in Genitourinary Cancers”, which is an evolving topic due to continuous high-level research in the field specifically in imaging and imaging guided surgery/intervention. In this issue, many experts shared their clinical and research experiences through high quality review articles on a diverse group of genitourinary cancers and they present a wide variety of lymph node detection techniques including conventional imaging, sentinel node imaging, novel positron emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
